did anybody here pass math class? l a penny is 3/4" in diameter, therefore it takes 16 pennies to reach a foot. 16x16=256 = $2.56/sq.ft. if a penny were 1" in diameter and still worth $0.01, then yes it would be 1.44/sq.ft.
Zak Jones I was just pointing out that he said it like he actually knew what he was talking about... but he was wrong. I found it lulzy so I posted it. P.S. Devon - I know what people are saying when they call me a douchebag because I know what that's for... not quite sure what a douchebucket is or how it would be used...
wow, angry much buddy? Thanks for the info, but my main point still stands: copper is worth so much, you'd be crazy to use it for flooring. Since free advice is the order of the day, here's some for you: when correcting someone on a mistake, try not to sound like a total douchebucket. You are much more likely to get your point across that way.
Brandon Langmeier if you had stopped your little attempt to sound like a know-it-all you would have realized that his statement still applies to the fact that pennies are not ALL copper anymore...
Unless you have a bunch of really old pennies, this is a really stupid idea. The sand on your shoes will wear the copper off in no time leaving you with a scuffed up pewter looking floor.
