For one, regardless of the buoyancy of an object, you still have to add weight in order to determine what counterbalances said buoyancy. Put a Styrofoam box in the water, put a single pea in the box, does the box sink? No, it does not. Put another in, does it sink? Again no, the only way to know way to know when the foam box will sink is by putting in enough peas into the box to counterbalance the buoyancy. Rose is still a massive bitch because she didn't even try. Who was she to say that Jack's extra weight would make the door sink? It takes a real psychopath to go into survival mode, and not even have the slightest ATTEMPT to save a person near her (a basic human function), let alone the guy she has fallen 'in love with'. Yes it would've doubled the amount of weight on top of the door, but why then does that instantly make it enough weight to sink the door (or piece of wood)? She didn't even want to risk it for the man that she loved, and instead literally just left him to die. It was just a movie, and it was made over a decade ago...I can't believe people still care. The best part of the movie was when people were falling off the boat and hitting stuff on the way down. Arturo Montalvo You do know that the store of Rose and Jack was completely fictional right? The movie was based upon the actual events of the Titanic sinking. But it was not an actual story. There was only 2 boats full that survived the Titanic. And it does matter to alot of people because Titanic was a boat of history, and massive deaths. not to mention that when the life boats came back to look for survivors that everyone was frozen to death. They only found about 2 people left in the water alone. The ship is still resting in the bottom of the ocean and is still under investigation. Most parts of the ship are intact, but unable to move because of the many years it has sat in the water. New discoveries of the ship are found. Though, there were true drawings of a naked woman found by an unknown artist. And the jewel from the movie, "The heart of the ocean" was a real jewel from the Titanic, but it wasn't found on the Titanic. Many things make this movie, and the story very intricate and very phenomenal. It's no wonder you wouldn't care. You never took the time to study or understand it all. And you call us Losers? hahaha at least no one is complaining about the ship sinking, when the movie came out, my grandparents were like " I heard the sinking scene is phenomenal, and I was like ' thanks for ruining it for me' not aware that the Titanic was suppoesed to sink.
