most sad part is is that it is a weed, just a weed and so much money (tax money goes to a weed). people can not survive. I think that things should be prioritized a what is REALLY important. I am not saying let the weeds grow, I am just saying were should our tax dollars go?
how about this, who determined what the value of that pot was? does the police get a flyer in the mail from the dealers and there weekly specials? was that with taxes? alot of questions need to be investigated here?
Well, you have to consider that the two cases were tried in two completely different states, under two completely different judges and juries. Courts aren't all the same throughout the US. Had the woman who sold the marijuana been tried in Florida as well, she likely would've had a short probation. Florida's court system is much more lenient than other states.
