I would just mix the pb and j together. not so much that they become one paste, but enough that the jelly stays in place, being surrounded by peanut butter, but not too much peanut butter.
One should receive the blessing of an equal balance of peanut butter and jelly in every bite. This technique inhibits the spiritual mix of ingredients. I spent years studying and have been enlightened to the proper flow of PB to the J. Also, NEVER use white bread.. Do not mess with what you don't know.
Peanut butter is good and jam is good... But not together. Some things are best left by themselves. Like petrol and ignited matches or bananas and cream.
despite photographic evidence to the contrary, pb+j actually tastes a helluva lot better with anything other than Wonderbread and dollar store condiments. j/s
I happen to know someone who puts PB on both slices with one slice of jelly. too much PB, I will have to try this though. However I have done something similar , except for PB around the edges, I put bananas, suitable alternative IMO.
how come everytime I go to a subway and ask for a "Tiny Bit" of mustard and mayo (even going as far as specifying "one line") they still drown that shit? Like a cup of mayo on a 6 inch turkey sub? WTF?
Gotten to the point that I just say no sauce and put it on myself later.
