idk if this is the difference between people who tweet or are on facebook but I am noticing the amount of facebook users who apparently already knew titanic was real. Maybe next time, when they remake it, they'll put 'based on a true story'.
Yes, very sad that some people make such poor choices in what historical facts are actually relevant. I'll bet that none of these people know that America's failure to support pan-Arab independence following the end of the First World War provided the fertile ground for the roots of Islamic terrorism. Some boat with a bunch of rich people hit an iceberg and sank. That's so much more vital to know about.
I'm from Houston, Texas and our school was nationally recognized for our TAAS testing scores so we learned about the Titanic in the 3rd grade. Even if your school didn't teach you about the Titanic there are still BOOKS and survivors who were alive when the movie was made! No excuse. These people are the ones that Darwin was talking about when he taught on "natural selection". Seriously, did their gene pool get pissed/shit in?
I vote we only temporarily set up on the moon, and use it as a base to launch to Mars from. Moon would be a really uncomfortable place, and as uncomfortable as Mars may be, at least it has more opportunity. I WANT TO JOIN TOO!
