Gen. 5 was pretty great but 4 was the worst IMO... my only gripe with current games is that there's always about 20 legendaries nowadays...I like this number to be between 6-10... Generation 5 isn't bad. I think their running out of names and ideas though. A Pokemon dressed as a goth chick? Or a Pokemon lamp? Names like "Emboar" and "timburr". Generation 4 was stupid though. "oh hey, by the way. Pokemon created space, time, and everything in the universe." that's a little far. At least gen5 pokemon legendaries aren't god.Generation 5 isn't bad. Just as what happened to the Yu Gi Oh series, they added new shit, made the old shit look obsolete, and thus everyone forgot about what made it so popular, not to mention most "new" pokemon are just shitty remakes of everything we've already seen. Jared Byers I do get the point. I was also pointing out the fact that you seem surprised that there was a Legendary Pokemon in this game...Just like there was in every other Pokemon game released. There are a total of 51 Legendary Pokemon. It's not like it's a new concept or anything. And maybe, just maybe, that is one of the reasons why people still like Pokemon and everyone has forgotten about the new Yu-Gi-Oh series. No matter how cliche the Pokemon become, it will still have a solid fan base, because unlike Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon actually keeps the same main characters for the most part in their shows.Jared Byers I do get the point. Is whining about the older ones being better, the people doing the whining haven't even played the newer ones most of the time. The opinions they spit out, don't mean shit. Mean to burst anybodys bubble, Pokemon was to simple back in the day to have any strategy. Anything they add to it, makes the games better and more fun to play.
