Solution to the Energy Crisis

Solution to the Energy Crisis
  1. James Henderson says:
Actually, that's kinda what's wrong with liberal activists. Sure they're trying to save the world and all, but they always do it in the corniest non productive ways... Like hand signals at occupy wall street, or a kiss in at Chik-fil-a... I mean yeah the tea party is evil and should be separated from the gene pool, but people listen to you if you show up to healthcare rallies with assault weapons. Just sayin...

I agree, we need someone to say. LISTEN, IF WE PUT A GIANT SOLAR FACTORY IN AUSTRAILIA IT COULD POWER HALF THE WORLD, BUT MAN I BET IT WOULD HAVE A HORRIBLE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT DRAWING ALL THAT HEAT IN! Just to kick people into feeling special for acting intelligent. P.S. I hate you all.

  3. James Henderson says:
I don't think I understand... Solar panels don't cause more sunlight, they absorb what they can and reflect the rest. The mirrors would raise the temp a bit in the area they are installed, but it would be entirely localized and dissipate every night. And now they're learning how to take the heat given off by solar panels absorbing the sunlight, and use it to power thermal systems for residential and commercial building climate control. This makes the panels drastically more efficient. (inefficiency being one of the main reasons naysayers give about this technology) The biggest environmental concern facing large solar facilities in the desserts is habitat destruction. Something that can be mitigated with planning. Kinda like how they're doing in new harbors where they implant artificial reefs to give wildlife what has been taken from them. What we need is for liberals to take off the gloves, present the facts in a no nonsense way, and bluntly imply that if you disagree the only excuse is ignorance, willful or otherwise. Take away their defense. Just like with the religious right. Start pointing out on prime time how just about every attempt at scientific explanation in the bible is wrong, and openly ask what that implies about it's spiritual message. Then ask why we're supposed to use it as a guide to national policy and who we grant government ordained civil rights to. It's really simple. You can be for liberty under the law without having to be afraid to offend people, I do it everyday.

James Henderson They do in fact attract, the darker they are the more they absorb, its why there called Blackholes! If the liberals take off there gloves they'll get there soft hands dirty! No one wants that! The reality of the situation is far too deep for this level of conversation. Mostly revolving around NOT giving china free energy, due to a few genetic issues regarding malevolence and depravity. Cold Fusion has been proven and does work, the big ups like to keep it on par with non existence untill we can get the planet under some sort of intelligent control.

I said they don't cause more sunlight... Are you saying they do? And thus my point about pointing out ignorance is proved. In case you're not keeping track, the world could use some sort of intelligent control. But then you probably hate everyone in a secret society except the founding fathers.

You're an inbred kid! THEY ATTRACT LIGHT, as in in a specific spot! This is atomic age shit, lets get post industrial you dick for brains. And for your information, i perfer Mensa over Mason, and im not a fan of inbred kikes, or child molesting monkeys. So Templar it is. Btw, way to say something completely off topic to try to unbalance the situation, instead of preventing your self respect, you proved how desperate you were to hide your lack of it. Wow......This is why i said, say something intelligent to get people going, even the dumbest people in the world will jump at the chance to sound smart, even if it means destroying and deflecting all sense of intelligence in the matter.

Yes I think the whole point of putting a mirror in a sunny area and labeling it a "solar panel" is to attract sunlight. Since you failed your 5th grade science class, i'll inform you that attracting the sunlight already beaming down upon the earth does not generate more sunlight. In fact, because the mirrors reflect what it does not absorb, and converts what it does absorb into energy, it actually reduces the amount of sunlight that would have otherwise been absorbed into the earth to negative effect. Much like ice, snow, and clouds do without the benefit of converting the absorbed sunlight into usable energy. When you can prove you've developed technology that mitigates the atrocious affects of energy from atomic manipulation, by all means, i'll back your efforts to develop it. Until then, you're just standing behind more dangerous sources of energy than we already have, that sorta defeats the purpose. It's just cheaper and more efficient, which is why right wing scum like you think it's the answer. It's all about the money eh? Who cares if it ruins the world. I don't remember reading about a solar panel exploding and the effects being felt on the other side of the world. Also, thanks for showing the conservative's most prominent talking point: baseless insults and degradation of anyone showing you don't know what you're talking about. By the way, the Templars took money from people in the form of donations or trusts in order to finance wars that sent their depositors to their deaths. Kinda one sided and self serving if you ask me... not the sorta thing i look for in an overlord, but to each their own. See, you can call someone stupid without having to prove you are as well.

You sir are inbred. It attracts at a higher rate. I doesnt generate light, but it does absorb it. When light is being absorbed it is being changed. It has a probability of existential affects. Finance? Money isnt real dude, the entire thing is a show. No economy has worked in the history of the planet, Christ the theoretic model of the universe is based on inflation. I think your missing the concept of "taking" energy, it isnt free. Ie, why i refered to black wholes, new photovolatics are blacker than black, and it takes a super computer to even start to image a blackhole, you insolent whelp. And for further conversation with other people, just because you can say "baseless" does not mean that it exists, especially when it has no bearing to anything said prior. IE your a fucking idiot.

James Henderson before you waste my time with a reply, in order to power half the world, you need a solar array half the size of Australia, that is a Macro factor worthy of query of further affect.

See, my point exactly. With only a few well thought out and informed responses, i was able to take you from a confident know it all to a raving idiot full of hate and misconceptions. If our political candidates did that to your political candidates, you guys wouldn't be able to win student council elections. By the way, two things: If money is imaginary, how did you buy your computer? Also, what is a "Black Whole"?

Mike Magwire Who said anything about powering the whole world? It's a perfectly reasonable goal to use solar power to mitigate the negative effects of carbon fuels. Then you can use both in harmony. This is why I don't like simple minded people. People who will tell you there is only 1 answer, are always wrong, yourself included.
