The part you are missing is when the UK sends the Canadians into the tough spots again because we don't back out of humanitarian challenges. And we did remember doing that in WWI too. Oh and the part that once the US joined in they couldn't believe the Canadians would keep doing that and sent them in too. =-)
Where did you get this information, Eryk? Hiroshima was bombed on August 6, 1945, Nagasaki on August 9. The decision to surrender came on August 15 with the official ceremony held on the USS Missouri on September 2.
