Low Cost Automatic Cars In India – Easy To Drive Budget Cars

The trend of automatic cars is slowly catching up in India as well. This can be attributed to many facts. Firstly, the general standard of living has improved, which makes the higher priced automatic cars affordable to many. Secondly, more and more women are driving cars these days and a vast majority of them prefers the automatic cars to the manual ones. Thirdly, driving an automatic car is less stressful on the congested city lanes and roads. All these factors, along with the availability of numerous choices have led to the surging demand in the automatic cars. However, finances are still a concern for many, and hence, the cheaper automatic cars are more popular compared to their pricey cousins.

Maruti Celerio – One of the latest cars to enter the Indian car market, the Celerio is also the cheapest automatic car. Celerio Price at 4.14 lakh and above, the Celerio was a super seller car instantly. It is going strong even after months of launch.

Maruti A-Star – The Maruti A-Star, with a price tag of 4.58 lakh rupees and above, is another low cost automatic car in India. It is also one of the most popular models, which have sold in great numbers.

Mahindra e2o – Despite being an electric car, the Mahindra e2o has also earned its place in the low cost automatic car, thanks to its competitive pricing. The most popular electric car model after Reva, the Mahindra e2o comes with a price tag ranging from 4.82 lakh to 6.82 lakh rupees for various versions.

Hyundai Grand i10 –  Just like the manual variant, the automatic version of the Grand i10 is also a popular car. There are three automatic variants of Grand i10 , which are priced between 5.71 lakh to 7.00 lakh rupees.

Maruti Ritz – The light and zippy hatchback from Maruti, Ritz also comes in an automatic version, costing around 5.76 lakh rupees.

Honda Brio – Available for a reasonable price of 6.00 lakh rupees, the Honda Brio is also a low cost automatic car.

Apart from these compact models, many other cars like the Maruti Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Nissan Micra, Honda Amaze and Tata Zest are low cost automatic cars. Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Ciaz, Nissan Sunny, Renault Scala, Ford Ecosport,  Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento also come in automatic variants priced under INR 1000000/-.

However, the most popular low cost automatic Car in India is the Mahindra Scorpio VlX AT 4WD Airbag version, which is  priced at 7.00 lakh rupees.
